She takes the time to ask you how you are feeling and review any symptoms you may have each appointment and adapts the session to suit your individual needs. The equipment is thoroughly cleaned before each session so you can be comfortable using the reformer. I look forward to every appointment and leave feeling powerful and calm.

  • “If you are on the fence about doing this or not sure if its for you I couldn't recommend this more. I have had terrible back pain on and off for years, I was given my first hour with Liz as a gift from my wife and it was incredible. I will book more sessions as soon as I can and I would tell anyone that isn't 100% about trying it, you have nothing to lose but the pain and discomfort.   • I decided to treat myself to a block of 1:1 reformer pilates sessions at Poise reformer pilates so I could train myself at work but it just wasn’t happening for a few reasons so I decided to place myself in the very talented and amazing hands of Poise Reformer Pilates. I don’t think that there is anything that she doesn’t know about reformer pilates. The studio space is just beautiful, calm & really smells lovely but it is still a place to work hard & no doubt that I definitely did work so much harder than I do under my own steam. So having set my goals; overall body strength with a slight emphasis on improving my running (might change this to BIG emphasis on running now I have secured a Great North Run place) my first session focused more on the gluts & quads. I especially loved my introduction to the kick board. Fab for proprioception, endorphin release and just so much fun! No photos of my session as my phone stayed in my bag which is another winning situation (me time) but do check out @poisereformerpilates page, there is a video of the kick board! I love reformer pilates & am so looking forward to my next session

She’s a total expert when it comes to even the tiniest of muscle groups, and uses her Physio expertise to guide recovery and strengthening in the areas I need it most. I've struggled to find an exercise that I have connected with and enjoyed, but starting reformer Pilates has very much remedied that and I look forward to going back each time.   • "2 years ago a herniated a disc and have been suffering nerve damage and long term back pain since. I started looking at Poise's website for several weeks umming and ahing due to fear of making things worse. I finally took the plunge and booked my first session and haven't looked back since! Liz put my mind at ease from the get go with her knowledge, qualifications and attention to detail in making sure my sessions were adequate to my needs and pushing my body when needed. And i feel stronger and more mobile than at any point for 2 years. I started attending sessions in the Spring of 2021 when lockdown was being eased and the cleanliness of the studio and precautions being taken are second to none. My advice if you are considering it but aren't sure if it is worthwhile. My answer is Yes, YES YES!"
