What is Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact conditioning method based on the principles of Joseph Pilates, who believed in the connection between mental and physical health. It promotes balanced strength, flexibility, posture, and breathing for efficient, graceful movement and relaxation.
Exercises can be performed on a mat or with equipment such as the Reformer. Physiotherapy-led Pilates is suitable for the majority of people, including those with musculoskeletal conditions, and can also complement sports training for strength, conditioning, and injury prevention.

What is Reformer Pilates?
The Allegro 2 Pilates Reformer is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the Pilates industry. It features shoulder pads, arm and foot straps connected to a pulley system, five adjustable springs, a sliding carriage, a foot bar, and optional attachments such as a box and jump board.
It allows endless exercise variations in positions including lying, kneeling, sitting, planking, or standing. The five-spring system enables tailored resistance from beginner to advanced levels—heavier springs build strength, while lighter ones enhance lumbo-pelvic stability.
Reformer Pilates refines your technique and offers progressions beyond what mat-based Pilates can achieve.
